Evolve in the medium of the free jazz (Yochko Sheffer, Elton Dean) and of the musics improvised with group MCAS (two CDs at Body & Soul in 1991 and 1993), at the sides of Steve Potts with Interplanetary Music Orchestra (CD published at Bibia in 1997) and at the sides of former musicians of Gong with Forgas Band Phenomena (CD at Music Cosmos in 1999). Evolve then to the African musics and the Bebop.
He records at the sides of Karim Ziad, Dominique Comaont (CD at Night & Day in 1999), of Louis Winsberg, Linley Marthe, Roy Ehrlich and Paco Sery (CD "So Kalmery" published at Pygmalion Records in 2001).
Play in the clubs and meets inter alia: Steve Potts, Jérôme Bard, Siegfried Kessler, Ronnie Patterson, Andy Emler, Walter Norris, Baptiste Trotignon and especially Lionel Belmondo with which he studies during one year.
Concerts and festival in France, Germany, England, Holland, Quebec, Spain, the Antilles.

Peter Gritz Drummer

He makes his studies with the academy higher of jazz in Budapest. Play with Acadar Pege, Tony Lakatos, Szakcsi Lakatos Bela.

In 1980, he settles in Paris and collaborates with Antoine Herve, Lee Konitz, Jean-François Jenny Clarke, Steve Lacy, François Jeanneau, Henri Texier, Didier Lockwood, Kenny Wheeler, R. Moor, Steve Potts, Barney Wilen, Paolo Fresu, Jacques Pellen, Palle Danielson, Philippe Catherine, Enrico Rava, Dave Valentine, Eric Barret, Marc Ducret.
Take part in rounds in the festivals in France, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Italy, Holland, Sweden, Africa, Japan, Canada, Iceland.

The great night of the jazz around Cassandra Wilson, Wednesday May 19 with the Theatre of Cornwall.

Cassandra Wilson is quite simply one of the largest singers of the scene jazz. Recognized by its pars, she is also a very great popular success. "Glamoured", her new album left in October 2003 at Blue Note, is classified in the second place of the best sales of jazz in the United States before the "Live in Paris" of Diana Krall.

The evening will be prolonged with the club Calao, in particular, where a quartett made up of Fred Schmidely (sax), Patrick Craff (low), Rene Goaer (piano) and Peter Gritz (drums) will occur.



Cassandra Wilson Wednesday May 19, 2004 with the Theatre of Cornwall.

Within the framework of the arrival of Cassandra Wilson, Aprèm' jazz wished an exceptional event, by organizing a series of animations around the jazz, which will begin with a aperitif-concert at 18 hours followed by a concert, in Ceili in Quimper with the following formation: The trio Yvonig Pelven with the guitar, Philippe Dardelle with the double bass, Marc Delouya with the drums with in Guest Star Jacques Pellen with the guitar.

To continue the festival, one evening also organized by Aprèm' jazz will take place in Calao, Night Club in Combrit, starting from 23h30 until the end of the night, thank's the Ascension Day. Will be present Rene Goaer at the piano, Fred Schmidely with the saxophone, Patrick Craff with bass and Peter Gritz with the drums, as of very many surprised artists who made the beautiful days of Aprèm' jazz.
