At the occasion to the exit of its next disc, Peter Gritz and his eleven friends musicians invade, for our greater pleasure, the Arts Centre.
JAZZ CONCERT

The band of Peter Gritz

He could have remained professional sportsman in Hungary, but what you want, one can nothing against heredity. According to the traces of his grandfather, musician of marching band, he will be made the muscles, but not with dumpbells. The rods and the drums quickly will become its best partners.

With the talent that one knows to him, Peter Gritz seems to have started to play of the drums as of the cradle.
Undeceive you, undeceive we, it is only at age of eighteen years, after having passed its VAT and having listened a concert of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers which he launches out in the rhythm.
"All was very quickly, says he.
I studied the technique, the harmony, a little jazz to the Academy of Budapest and two years later, I was professional and recorded my first disc of jazz, well not being on the level to do it..."

One feels despite everything very small in front of this course flash !
The need for
the others

Installed in Paris since 1980, Peter Gritz became one of the most required, snuffed and general-purpose drummers of the Hexagon. Today, declares he "I do not want more to make things with right-hand left-side, to make this trade. I now prefer to build stories. The music, it is emotional and the emotion is not easy to feel if you connect gig on gig.
One needs claim himself while playing in concepts and with musicians whom you really smell (...) I like very much the collective side. Impromptu music had learned to me that one does need the others..."
And others, there will be on the scene of the Arts centre. They will be eleven musicians at its sides because his disc, of which he will give broad extracts, is not for him a disc

of "leader". It's especially an invitation launched to all its accomplices and his public large brewed talents, to divide, quite simply.
